  • Jeb Pair President

    Jeb Pair is the founder and President of ACES, Inc.  He founded the company after years of service in the U.S. Air Force, which provided him with the vision needed to bridge the gaps between intelligence analysis capabilities and the latest enabling technologies. His experience ranges from language analysis to software and system engineering, and systems integration to deploying operational systems. Professionally, Jeb enjoys research and development projects and being a lifelong student of new technologies and mission tradecraft. On the personal side, mountain biking, fishing, camping, and most outdoor activities top his list.

  • Joe Bedwell CEO

    Joseph Bedwell (Joe) is Chief Executive Officer of ACES, Inc. As CEO, Joe is responsible for overall business operations including customer and staff relationships, marketing, business development, and financial performance of the firm. Joe earned a B.S. in Management from the University of Maryland, University College and an M.B.A. from Loyola University in Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business. He is currently a member of INCOSE, AFCEA Central Maryland, IEEE, and the Project Management Institute where he earned his Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification. Outside of ACES, Inc., Joe enjoys running, soccer, supporting charitable organizations, spending time with his wife and young twin boys, and always supporting his treasured local sports teams: Orioles, Capitals and frustratingly the Washington Redskins.

  • Jim Malone CFO

    Jim Malone has been with ACES, Inc. since May 2011, and was named Chief Financial Officer in September 2013. He is responsible for overseeing corporate financial reporting and cost control, DCAA compliance, cost proposal submissions, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Administration, as well as general business management duties. Prior to joining ACES, Inc., Jim spent nearly four years at Northrop Grumman. He learned and worked in various roles, most recently as a Program Control Analyst in a Program Management Office, responsible for financial control of five Technical Task Orders of varying size and complexity. Jim holds both a B.B.A and M.B.A. from Loyola University in Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business.

  • Tony Alletag CTO

    Tony joined ACES, Inc. as its Chief Technology Officer with a focus on strengthening the software development culture, maximizing the return on R&D resources, and to diversify software and IT contracts. Tony is an experienced IT project manager and software engineer dedicated to technical excellence and modern practices for product delivery. His professional experiences include a diversified portfolio of IT projects and consist of cyber security solutions, PaaS/SaaS solutions, intelligence dissemination, human language technologies, and financial reporting systems. Tony enjoys growing, coaching, and motivating diverse teams to top performance.

  • Chuck Patterson VP - Maryland Operations

    Chuck joined ACES, Inc. in May 2010 and has supported the DoD for 19 years with a focus in System Engineering. Current work includes leading efforts to integrate, test and deliver critical mission applications in support of an Intelligence Community customer. Chuck received the Agency's Director's Team Excellence Award in 2011 and 2014 while supporting two different mission focused teams. Prior work experience includes Task Lead and System Engineering roles with Northrop Grumman and while serving as a Surface Warfare Officer while in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1996 with a degree in Oceanography and is a Project Management Professional (PMP) as of 2004. Chuck enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and coaching his kid's sports teams.

  • Chuck Davis VP - ISR Operations

    Chuck Davis joined ACES, Inc. in 2010 and is the Vice President of ISR Operations. Chuck is a retired CMSgt, having served 25+ years with the USAF. Chuck’s background includes 10 years flying the Rivet Joint and Combat Sent aircraft as a Special Signals Operator, two and a half years as a Compass Call Special Signals/High Band Operator, and 10 years working Special Programs finally capping off his military career as the Senior Enlisted Advisor/ Requirements Chief for the Aerospace Development Facility (ADF) in Aurora, Colorado. Chuck transitioned to contracting in 2001 and has worked for CACI, Boeing and IST until ACES, Inc. offered him the opportunity to grow an ISR group of subject matter experts and engineers. Chuck holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, European Division and a M.S. in Space Systems Operations Management with an emphasis on Acquisition and Program Management from Webster University.

  • Karen Kistle VP - Colorado Operations

    Karen Kistle joined ACES, Inc. in 2015 and is the Vice President of Colorado Operations. Karen is a retired CMSgt, having served 33 years with the USAF on active and reserve duty. Karen began her career in Berlin Germany in 1982 with a follow-on assignment to Ft Meade, MD. She moved to Colorado in 1996 as a systems engineer/project manager to lead a team of software developers and systems engineers. Karen acquired her PMP and finalized her 30-year career with CACI before joining ACES, Inc. in 2015 to become the Program Manager of a National TechSIGINT contract. Karen earned a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland, University College. She is married with two daughters, adopted from China. Her international passion and love for children has encouraged her to host eight teens from China and the Ukraine for summer experiences. She firmly believes in strong communication, that people are a company’s greatest resource, and children are the way of the future. Her personal interests include camping, biking, photography, and international exploration.

  • Andrew Serff Lead R&D Engineer

    Andrew joined ACES, Inc. in 2012 to start and lead the Research and Development department. Andrew is an experienced software engineer and project lead who has been the key player in many successful projects. He strives to learn and keep informed of new technologies that can help ACES, Inc. to design, build, and implement innovative solutions to customer needs while at the same time maintaining his responsibilities as the lead developer on all R&D projects.  Andrew loves the outdoors, photography, and spending time with his family.
