BOLOBeat – One Touch Safety

The word is out about BOLOBeat! In the last two months, BOLOBeat has been presented and positively received at two major law enforcement conferences and the team has built relationships with key industry partners.

In October, Lt. Steven Olson had the honor of presenting BOLOBeat at the Maryland Sheriff’s Association. Thirteen Maryland counties were in attendance and the majority of these attendees have expressed interest in further discussion. Lt. Olson will be following up with the sheriffs and collaborating with them on how BOLOBeat can best serve their county.

ACES, Inc’s new Domestic Watch wins award in EPIC App Challenge

ACES, Inc. (in coordination with our parent company IEA) recently participated in the 2018 Intelligence & National Security Summit (INSS) EPIC App Challenge where participants had a short 10 days to develop a capability utilizing open data sets which focuses on anticipating events that have impact to National Security.  The EPIC App Challenge is an Intelligence-Community-focused challenge for developers directed at one or more hard problems the IC is facing today. ACES, Inc. was one of 9 teams to participate in the App Challenge and was honored with a 2nd Place award for our capability which we called Domestic Watch.
